1. Introduction

Welcome to The Inner Circle, a mobile application ("App") designed to help athletes develop mental performance skills through daily drills, journaling, habit tracking, community connection, and personalized coaching from Coach Tyler. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the App.

By creating an account and using The Inner Circle, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you are under 13 years of age, you may not use this App. If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to this policy on your behalf before you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information generated automatically through your use of the App.

2.1 Information You Provide

Account Registration. When you create an account using an invite code, we collect your full name, email address, and a password you choose. Your email address serves as your unique account identifier throughout the App.

Onboarding Profile. During the onboarding process, we collect your age, the sport(s) you play, your position(s), your athletic level (e.g., youth, high school, college, professional), and your primary performance goal (e.g., confidence, focus, leadership). This information is used to personalize your experience.

Profile Updates. You may update your name, bio, sport, position, level, and focus area at any time through your profile settings.

Journal Entries. The App includes guided journaling drills. Written responses you submit are stored on your device and, when you are connected to the internet, synchronized to our secure servers so your entries persist across devices and reinstalls.

Journal Photos. You may optionally attach a photo to a journal entry, either by taking a new photo with your camera or selecting one from your photo library. These images are uploaded to our secure cloud storage.

Community Posts. If you post in the group community feed, your message content, your display name, and any attached images or videos are stored on our servers and visible to all other members of The Inner Circle community.

Direct Messages to Coach Tyler. Messages you send directly to Coach Tyler through the private chat are stored on our servers and are accessible to Coach Tyler and authorized administrators.

Questions Submitted to Coach Tyler. Questions you submit through the Ask Coach Tyler feature are stored on our servers and may be answered by Coach Tyler or an authorized administrator.

Highlight Reel Videos. Videos you upload to your personal Highlight Reel are stored in our secure cloud storage (Amazon S3) and are linked to your account by email address. These videos are private to you and are not visible to other members.

Best-Self Profile. Responses you enter in the Best-Self Profile feature (such as personal values, goals, and identity statements) are stored locally on your device.

Notification Preferences. If you enable daily reminder notifications, we store your preferred reminder time (hour and minute) on our servers so this setting persists across reinstalls.

Subscription and Payment Information. If your membership involves a paid subscription, billing is processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We store your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status in our database. We do not store your full credit card number, card verification code, or bank account details — these are handled entirely by Stripe. 2.2 Information Generated Automatically

Usage and Progress Data. We record each drill you complete, including the drill name, category, date, and the XP (experience points) you earn. This data powers your streak counter, XP total, leaderboard ranking, and progress history.

Device and Platform Information. We collect basic technical information such as your device operating system (iOS or Android) to ensure the App functions correctly. We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or precise location data.

App Activity Logs. Our servers maintain standard logs of API requests, which may include timestamps and error codes. These logs are used for debugging and security monitoring and are not used for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We do not use your information to serve targeted advertisements. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances.

With Other Members (Community Features). When you post in the group community feed, your display name and message content are visible to all current members of The Inner Circle. You should not post sensitive personal information in the community feed.

With Coach Tyler and Administrators. Coach Tyler and authorized administrators can view your profile information (name, sport, level, XP, streak), your direct messages to Coach Tyler, and questions you submit. Administrators can also view aggregate activity data for the purpose of managing the community.

With Service Providers. We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

•Amazon Web Services (AWS) / S3 — Cloud storage for uploaded videos and images.

•Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions.

•Manus — The platform on which this App is built and hosted, including server infrastructure and database hosting.

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your data only to provide services to us and may not use it for their own purposes.

For Legal Reasons. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Inner Circle, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers. If The Inner Circle is acquired by or merged with another organization, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers hosted through the Manus platform, with media files (videos and images) stored in Amazon S3. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls that limit who can view your data.

Passwords are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing and are never stored in plain text.

Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by tax law).

Journal entries, community posts, and highlight reel videos are deleted when your account is deleted. Chat messages you sent to the group community feed may remain visible to other members until they are individually removed by an administrator.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information.

Access and Correction. You can view and update your name, sport, level, goal, and bio at any time through the Profile tab in the App.

Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address in Section 11. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Notification Opt-Out. You can disable daily reminder notifications at any time through the Profile tab or through your device's notification settings.

Data Portability. You may request a copy of your personal data in a portable format by contacting us.

California Residents (CCPA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address in Section 11.

European Residents (GDPR). If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is the performance of a contract (providing the App to you) and, where applicable, your consent.

8. Children's Privacy

The Inner Circle is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately.

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the App only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed this Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to external websites or services (for example, group call links or resource links). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the App.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

The most current version of this policy will always be available at the URL provided during onboarding.
